Dr. Dasari
DVM
Dr. Dasari is originally from India and grew up on a farm with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, sheep, and chickens. Caring for those animals is what inspired him to become a veterinarian. He received a scholarship from the College of Veterinary Science in Hyderabad, India and graduated with his DVM in 1998. Dr. Dasari came to the United States in 2000 and went on to complete a one-year clinical residency at Oklahoma State University in 2004. After that, he worked for the country’s largest private veterinary company for 12 years in several locations before settling in Atlanta in 2018. Dr. Dasari’s professional interests include wellness and preventive dental care, dermatology, internal medicine, critical care, cardiology, senior chronic disease management, soft tissue and limited orthopedic surgery, holistic treatments, and limited exotic pet care. His philosophy of veterinary medicine revolves around the evidence-based practice to enhance the human-animal bond while forging a long-lasting client-patient relationship. When not at work, you will find him fishing, playing tennis and cricket, going to the beach, and spending time with his family and his cat, Tigger.
