Dr. Chris Bern
Dr. Bern grew up in North Carolina and is a 1997 graduate of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He also has a Master’s in Ethology from the University of Tennessee. He moved to Georgia in 2006 and now considers northern Georgia his home. Though well versed in all aspects of small animal medicine he has special interests in behavior, soft tissue surgery, and exotic pets. Teaching and client education are also passions of his. He shares his home with his wife, two children, three dogs, and three cats. Outside of being a vet he participates in local community theater, is a Disney aficionado, and has strong interests in comic books, science fiction, and fantasy genres. He and his wife also dress in costume for sci-fi conventions and Renaissance faires.
Antionette has been working in customer satisfaction for over a decade and is excited to bring her expertise to the veterinarian world. She has a lot of passion for our four legged companions and ensuring they get the best service and care possible. When not at work, Antionette loves spending time with her husband and their two fur babies, Chloe and Nola. Together, they love all manner of cooking to feed their family and friends. Serving people is Antionette’s passion and she’ll always strive to do her best to meet your and your pet’s needs, making sure that animal and human get the best service we can offer.
Cristina Villegas – Veterinary Assistant
Cristina was born in Miami, Florida and grew up here in Kennesaw with 3 younger siblings. She recently got married and shares her home with her husband, his chihuahua, and her 11 reptiles. Cristina has loved animals since she was a child and always said she would be a veterinarian. After high school she decided to branch out and worked in food service, customer service, and sales. After leaving her last sales job Cristina decided to take a chance and apply for a position at an animal clinic. Her passion for animals was soon reignited and has been a veterinary assistant for 4 years. She is currently in school to get her veterinary technician license. Cristina is very active in the dog world and enjoys going to dog shows, bite work competitions, training seminars, and other dog sport competitions. She currently has a Great Dane and competes in conformation shows, fast cat, and dock diving with her large companion. She is an advocate for reputable breeding hopes to have her own kennel with titled, health tested, and temperament tested dogs who are wonderful representations of Great Danes and the amazing dogs they are. When not having fun in the dog world Cristina likes to attend Repticon with friends, helps out at her local reptile store, and spends time with her Husband, and siblings.
Jenna LeBeau – Vet Assistant
Jenna was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated with honors from Decatur High School, and is now studying Pre-Veterinary Biology (focusing in marine and exotic sciences) and minoring in Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University.Jenna spent much of her time growing up with family in Florida, where she found her love of the ocean. Currently, she enjoys playing video games, Dungeons and Dragons, hiking, whitewater kayaking, and scuba diving. She has been an adamant animal lover since she was born. Over the years she has owned a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, gerbils, snakes, axolotls, and fish. She started volunteering at her local cat shelter at the age of 10 and has been dedicated to saving lives ever since.Jenna plans to go to the University of Queensland in Australia to get her DVM in Exotic Medicine. She wants to spend her youth practicing marine research and rescue/rehabilitation/release, then turn her focuses to wildlife conservation.
Megan Dickerson-Veterinary Assistant
Megan has been working as a veterinarian assistant since early 2017. She is an honor graduate from Rockmart High School, and continued her education by attending college at The University of West Georgia. There, she studied science and mathematics, and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. The love for animals came at a very early age and decided her life goal was to become a veterinarian. In high school, Megan was rewarded for completing the animal science career pathway. Her plan now is to go back to school and get a Registered Vet Technician license. From there, she hopes to train up for a position at a specialty animal hospital. In the meantime, she enjoys her free time at nearby parks, lakes, and outdoor trails with her girlfriend, Kailey and their pups, Verity and Riley. She also has a kitty cuddle bug, Meeko, at home waiting to greet her at the door with lots of love. Megan is so excited to be a part of the My Pet’s Vet family and cannot wait to meet your family and fur babies!
Sidney Beasley- Veterinary Assistant
Sidney is originally from Savannah, Ga, where she found her love for animals. She grew up on acres of land with multiple dogs, cats, horses and other pets. Sidney moved to Kennesaw about a year ago to pursue her degree in Biology, to later attend Veterinarian school. Sidney currently has three dogs that live with her, Koda, Milly and Gizzie. In her spare time, Sidney enjoys taking Koda and Milly to the dog park and for hikes. She also likes going to the gym and spending time with friends and family. My Pet’s Vet Group is the first vet clinic that Sidney has had the opportunity of working at and it has only confirmed that she made the right choice with her career pathway.
Amberley Cross – Customer CSR
AMBERLEY HAS BEEN WORKING IN THE VETERINARY FIELD FOR MANY YEARS NOW, SHE AS SEEN ALL PARTS OF THE VET WORLD WORKING IN AS A RECEPTIONIST, VETERNIARY TECH, KENNEL TECH AND EVEN A DOGGIE DAYCARE ATTENDENT. SHE HAS A LOT OF PASSION FOR OUR FOURLEGGED COMPANIONS AND ENSURING THEY GET THE BEST SERVICE AND CARE POSSIBLE. WHEN NOT AT WORK, AMBERLEY LOVES SPENDING TIME WITH HER BOYFRIEND AND THEIR TWO DOGS LEAH AND PRINCESS, 2 CATS OWEN AND AMELIA AND HER HORSE LAELA. TOGETHER, THEY LOVE SPENDING THEIR FREE TIME BOWLING AND HANGING OUT WITH FAMILY. COMING INTO THE VET WORLD WAS DEFIENTLY LIFE CHANGING FOR HER AND SHE KNEW AT A YOUNG AGE THAT SHE WOULD BE IN THE VET WORLD.
