Our Doctors
Dr. Thirumal Dasari
Dr. Dasari is originally from India and grew up on a farm with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, sheep, and chickens. Caring for those animals is what inspired him to become a veterinarian. He received a scholarship from the College of Veterinary Science in Hyderabad, India and graduated with his DVM in 1998. Dr. Dasari came to the United States in 2000 and went on to complete a one-year clinical residency at Oklahoma State University in 2004. After that, he worked for the country’s largest private veterinary company for 12 years in several locations before settling in Atlanta in 2018. Dr. Dasari’s professional interests include wellness and preventive dental care, dermatology, internal medicine, critical care, cardiology, senior chronic disease management, soft tissue and limited orthopedic surgery, holistic treatments, and limited exotic pet care. His philosophy of veterinary medicine revolves around the evidence-based practice to enhance the human-animal bond while forging a long-lasting client-patient relationship. When not at work, you will find him fishing, playing tennis and cricket, going to the beach, and spending time with his family and his cat, Tigger.
Our Staff
Kylah Owens-Practice Manager
Kylah is originally from New Orleans and is fairly new to Georgia. She moved to Georgia from the fabulous Florida Keys where she resided for the last 10 years. While she misses Key West, she thoroughly enjoys the view of Kennesaw Mountain on her way to work. Kylah comes to us with a background in medical spa management as well as hospitality management. She has a full Yorkie named Bentley that is 8 years old, and also has his son Beamer that is 7 years old. Kylah enjoys watching her Saints games on Sundays, going to the gym as often as can and spending quality time with her family.

Sue Trybus-Veterinary Assistant
Sue was born and raised in central New Jersey, and now lives in Acworth sharing her home with her husband, sons, and 8 furbabies! Five dogs, two cats, Guinea pig and a chinchilla. Prior to joining Vitality, Sue passionately worked with animals as a Kennel Manager. Sue loves getting to know our clients and taking care of their fur babies. Future plans include following her passion and furthering her education to become a licensed Veterinarian Assistant. In Sue’s spare time, she enjoys her family, friends, doing crafts and cuddling with her fur babies.
Megan Dickerson-Veterinary Technician
Megan has been working as a veterinarian assistant since 2017. She is an honor graduate from Rockmart High School, and continued her education by attending college at The University of West Georgia. There, she studied science and mathematics, and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her love for animals came very early and decided her life goal was to become a veterinarian. In high school, Megan was rewarded for completing the animal science career pathway. Her plan now is to get a Registered Vet Technician license. From there, she hopes to train up for a position at a specialty animal hospital. In the meantime, she enjoys her free time taking her boxer pup, Verity, to nearby parks, lakes, and outdoor trails with her girlfriend, Kailey. She also has a kitty cuddle bug, Meeko, Megan cannot wait to meet your family and fur babies!
