Dr. Thirumal Dasari
Dr. Dasari is originally from India and grew up on a farm with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, sheep, and chickens. Caring for those animals is what inspired him to become a veterinarian. He received a scholarship from the College of Veterinary Science in Hyderabad, India and graduated with his DVM in 1998. Dr. Dasari came to the United States in 2000 and went on to complete a one-year clinical residency at Oklahoma State University in 2004. After that, he worked for the country’s largest private veterinary company for 12 years in several locations before settling in Atlanta in 2018. Dr. Dasari’s professional interests include wellness and preventive dental care, dermatology, internal medicine, critical care, cardiology, senior chronic disease management, soft tissue and limited orthopedic surgery, holistic treatments, and limited exotic pet care. His philosophy of veterinary medicine revolves around the evidence-based practice to enhance the human-animal bond while forging a long-lasting client-patient relationship. When not at work, you will find him fishing, playing tennis and cricket, going to the beach, and spending time with his family and his cat, Tigger.
Kylah Owens-Practice Manager
Kylah is originally from New Orleans, and has been in North Georgia for a little over 2 years. She moved to Georgia from the Fabulous Florida Keys where she resided for the last 10 years. Kylah comes to us with a background in medical spa management as well as hospitality management, however, has truly found her calling working with animals. She is known as the Yorkie Mom as she has 3 Yorkies. Bentley his son Beamer and if you’ve been to the hospital in the last year you’ve probably met her newest addition to her Yorkie crew Mercedes. Kylah enjoys watching her Saints games on Sundays and spending quality time with her boyfriend and her family.
Sue Trybus-Veterinary Assistant
Sue was born and raised in central New Jersey, and now lives in Acworth, sharing her home with her husband, sons, and 8 fur babies, five dogs, two cats, a Guinea pig and a chinchilla. Prior to joining My Pet’s Vet, Sue passionately worked with animals as a Kennel Manager. Sue loves getting to know our clients and taking care of their fur babies. Future plans include following her passion and furthering her education to become a licensed Veterinarian Assistant. In Sue’s spare time, she enjoys her family, friends, doing crafts and cuddling with her fur babies.
Antionette has been working in customer satisfaction for over a decade and is excited to bring her expertise to the veterinarian world. She has a lot of passion for our four legged companions and ensuring they get the best service and care possible. When not at work, Antionette loves spending time with her husband and their two fur babies, Chloe and Nola. Together, they love all manner of cooking to feed their family and friends. Serving people is Antionette’s passion and she’ll always strive to do her best to meet your and your pet’s needs, making sure that animal and human get the best service we can offer.
Megan Dickerson-Veterinary Assistant
Megan has been working as a veterinarian assistant since early 2017. She is an honor graduate from Rockmart High School, and continued her education by attending college at The University of West Georgia. There, she studied science and mathematics, and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. The love for animals came at a very early age and decided her life goal was to become a veterinarian. In high school, Megan was rewarded for completing the animal science career pathway. Her plan now is to go back to school and get a Registered Vet Technician license. From there, she hopes to train up for a position at a specialty animal hospital. In the meantime, she enjoys her free time at nearby parks, lakes, and outdoor trails with her girlfriend, Kailey and their pups, Verity and Riley. She also has a kitty cuddle bug, Meeko, at home waiting to greet her at the door with lots of love. Megan is so excited to be a part of the My Pet’s Vet family and cannot wait to meet your family and fur babies!
Nick Barnhart-Veterinary Technician
Nick has been a veterinary technician for close to 8 years. He has worked at different clinics varying from general care to emergency and urgent care practices. He is a husband, father to one son ,Kade, and two dogs, Aspen and Harper. In his time off of work he spends time with his family, and pursuing his education to become a veterinarian!
